Pokemon Renegade Platinum is a Platinum ROM hack from Drayano, making sooo many changes to the original game it's mindblowing, such as greatly increased difficulty, rebalancing, gameplay system overhauls and much more. This game has blown me away completely and I truly believe that this game is not only the best pokemon game I've ever played, but also one of my favorite games of all time, it's so amazing.
In this video I'll be doing a very in depth video essay explaining why exactly this game blows the original out of the water so much and why this game revolutionises how pokemon games function. I compare renegade platinum to the mainline series but also to other roleplaying games in general such as skyrim and dark souls. Hopefully you enjoy this thesis and learn something new.
