From Tiago: "I discovered Emahoy’s music by accident in 2024, when Spotify recommended it after a long playlist. The first piece I heard, Song of the Sea, moved me deeply and immediately drew me into her musical world.Later, while listening to the Jerusalem EP, I began to imagine how these pieces might live on the accordion. I started arranging two works from the recording Movement from Rainbow Sonata and Jerusalem, first reconstructing the scores note by note, then adapting them for the instrument. Over several months, I refined the arrangement and the interpretation. This recording is my humble tribute, shaped by patience, collaboration, and deep admiration for Emahoy’s music."
