It has been a long-running dream of mine to be able to play through the entire franchise, and with the release of the Pixel Remaster [PR] versions of the first six games on Steam a couple years back, I can finally make this dream a reality (and legal!). I intend to play through every Final Fantasy main title there is (excluding the MMOs 11 and 14), and occasionally play additional titles on streams broadcasted every Monday, Thursday and Saturday.

The truly unforgettable experience of Final Fantasy X is now over, but that certainly doesn't mean that we're quite done yet! Unlike most predecessors, Final Fantasy includes a sequel called Final Fantasy X-2, which follows the story of Yuna, Rikku and a new character called Payne about 2 years after the events of Final Fantasy X.

Not only does the sequel change our main cast quite a bit, but the gameplay also takes a completely new turn! Long gone are the days of turn-based gameplay, but rather we're taking a step back into the realm of Active Time Battle (ATB) that we've gotten very accustomed to with the previous games thus far. Much else has also changed in terms of both gameplay and the world itself. What new surprises will we uncover as we re-experience Spira two years after the beginning of the Eternal Calm?
