First Time In Edinburgh - 48 Hours To Explore The Scottish Capital

Описание: This was our first time in Edinburgh and we had 48 hours to explore the Scottish capital and find some of the top things to do in Edinburgh.

It's not strictly true that it was our first time. Wills had been there once, off the train, to a friend's house, then back on the train home, so didn't go into the city, and Rach was there many years ago while on tour with an Irish dance show but only saw the inside of the theatre.

We we shocked by how much we loved Edinburgh. Out of all of the beautiful cities we have visited over the years, Edinburgh must be right up there with the most beautiful cities ever!

In this exploring Edinburgh vlog, we look at some of the top things to do in Edinburgh and we managed to tick most of them off our list of things to see and do in Edinburgh.

The main reason we went to Edinburgh, was to do some filming for a music video with Will's friend, Tyla J. Pallas from the rock band, The Dogs D'Amour. We had decided to make a bit more of the trip and stayed for another 2 nights.

After the filming, we spent the first evening in Edinburgh on a guided walking tour, learning of spooky ghost tales and visiting the Edinburgh Vaults.

The next 2 days were spent exploring Edinburgh, and we saw many of the sights, from Edinburgh Castle, The Royal Mile, Victoria Street and Calton Hill. We also learned about many stories of the city, some quite gruesome.

In and around Greyfriars Kirkyard, we were told the heart warming tale of Greyfriars' Bobby and discovered many of the influences for J K Rowling's Harry Potter.

We visited the Monkey Barrel Comedy Club and ate and drank in some lovely bars and restaurants.
