3 children, woman killed in Renton multi-vehicle crash identified

Описание: Three children and the woman who were killed in a four-vehicle crash in Renton Tuesday afternoon have been identified.

According to the King County Medical Examiner’s Office, 38-year-old Andrea Smith Hudson, 13-year-old Matilda Wilcoxson, 12-year-old Eloise Wilcoxson, and 12-year-old Boyd B. Brown were killed in the crash at the intersection of SE 192nd Street and 140th Ave SE. The KCME said all four victims died from “multiple blunt force injuries.”

Officials said three other people involved in the crash were taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries. Another person suffered minor injuries.

The King County Sheriff's Office said detectives identified the causing driver as an 18-year-old male who was among the people injured in the crash. The causing driver was being treated at Harborview Medical Center as of Wednesday afternoon. The KCSO said the 18-year-old was “under guard and criminal charges are pending.”
