Cream pickup is Dimarzio Air Norton S
Black pickup is 916 pickups stacked 51P style
These are very different styles. The Dimarzio has that humbucker character - it is very thick and the highs are chopped off to an extreme. Despite the 916 being a stacked pickup, it very much has the character of a single coil 51 P bass - it is open and detailed. It is made with alnico 5 boosted with neodymium.
Also note this is a great example of why you can't just use DCR as "output"
The Dimarzio reads about 11.5k ohms - and is 2 coils beside each other with ceramic magnets
The 916 is 22k! but stacked. When a pickup is stacked it has to be wound pretty hot due to the interaction of the coils.
