Описание: Hey, All! My name is La Tasha and I'm a Real Estate Salesperson (a.k.a. Realtor) in the California Central Valley. I've been a full-time real estate mom and real estate business owner since 2016. And in my experience of running my own solo real estate business for over 5 years, I've discovered that I suck at the business part and thrive at the part of my business where I offer excellent service to my customers. In my attempt to find a happy medium, I stumbled upon the Redfin Corporation model of "redefining real estate in the consumer's favor" which intrigued me. I set out on a crusade to investigate the Redfin philosophy while at the same time asking myself: (1) Why was I always taught that Redfin and others were major "disrupters" in the real estate industry and that these models were only out to "get our real estate careers" and automate the system?; and (2) Why for over 5 years did I feel like I was being steered away from this "disruptive model" of wage-based compensation for all of the long hours I devoted to clients with many times receiving absolutely no compensation? And in my digging for answers, I found that Redfin actually met all of the criteria for a real estate career that I had only dreamed of, until now. This channel dives into my transition from a large international and traditional brokerage and my journey to Redfin. You'll see, from my perspective as a wife, mother, and professional realtor why I chose to be the black sheep (no pun intended) amongst my real estate colleagues to ditch the traditional brokerage to an employee model brokerage.
