SecuRAM SafeLogic X Treme ~5 Years Later...Year 6 UPDATE

Описание: I've been meaning to do this follow up/update for a long time and with temperatures being over 100 degrees this weekend it was definitely an indoor weekend. Time to make a video.

My last update on this safe lock from SecuRAM was about a year ago. Turns out the folks @ SecuRAM saw the video and wanted to make things right, as well as get back the old lock to see what was failing with the electronics. Mind you, I was NEVER locked out of my safe and although the digital lock was no longer working consistently (usually opened on the 3rd, 4th or 5th try), the mechanical lock never had any issues, so I wasn't really overly concerned about access. However, it would be nice to open the digital lock on the first try.

So SecuRAM sent me the latest version of the lock (current version no long has the built in light over the mechanical dial ring) an I sent back my old one. Installed it (not the smallest of jobs to remove the old lock and install a new one, so it was more about process and patience than anything else. All worked fine.

So, my procrastination has resulted in a much delayed review of the replacement/updated lock one year later. Haven't had a single issue on either the digital or mechanical side. I truly enjoy the feature set of this lock.

Kudos to SecuRAM for making things right as they didn't have to as my lock was WAY out of the covered warranty. Excellent customer service and goodwill IMO. Something you don't see much of these days.
