So for so long, in so many games realistically there has been little reason to pick Ryu over Akuma, or his akuma-lite counterpart Evil Ryu. Why? Because they can do everything he can at the cost of just a little bit less health, so why bother? Now as of the Season 2 patch that has changed, Ryu is definitively his own man with things the other shotos can't really do, so lets talk about it!
