EASA's air operations expert Michel Gorog explains the process used by EASA and the competent authorities to evaluate the content of those industry standards and best practices. The panel discussion offers the perspective of competent authorities on the oversight of organisations using industry standards and best practices in ground handling. The panellists, GH inspectors of Croatia (Tihana Pejša), Ireland (Jonathan Heavey) and Switzerland (Barbara Schaffner), provided clear insight, spot-on explanations and highlighted various aspects of oversight in their answers and comments.
