" PARENTING TIPS: TALKING ABOUT SEX, INTRODUCTION -- PLANNED PARENTHOOD" VIDEO TRANSCRIPT:
As parents, we all want the best for our teens. That means helping them with homework, encouraging their hobbies, and...talking about sex.
It turns out that teens name parents as the biggest influence on their decisions about sex. And teens who talk to their parents about sex are more likely to wait longer and use condoms and birth control.
The good news is that parents are talking. In fact, 9 out of 10 parents have talked about sex and relationships with their teen. But we need to talk more often and more in depth.
We know this can be a little awkward, so we're here to help. Click on any of these videos to learn more.
