(25 Aug 2019) THE DUKE OF SUSSEX ATTENDS THE RUGBY LEAGUE CHALLENGE CUP FINAL
The Duke of Sussex returned to royal duties to attend the Rugby League Challenge Cup final between St Helens and Warrington Wolves at Wembley Stadium in London Saturday (24 AUG 2019).
Before kick-off, the Duke chatted to schoolboy rugby players, Leeds Rhinos Women's team members, who won the 2019 Women's Challenge Cup, and the winners of the Wheelchair Challenge Cup Final.
Prince Harry had been on vacation in the south of France with his wife, Meghan Markle, and young son Archie, but returned to royal duties solo to attend the sporting event.
The Duke of Sussex watched St Helens compete against the Warrington Wolves. Wolves overcame a heavily favored Saints side 18-4.
The Prince has been Patron of the Rugby Football League since December 2016.
