Ebike ride to the southern end of Cherry Creek Trail in Colorado

This is the southern-most 9 miles of the 42-mile Cherry Creek Trail in the Denver, Colorado area. This section starts at the Pinery trailhead and ends at the Homestead trailhead on the south end. This was an unusually warm (72 F) Christmas Eve day.
Some annoyances with this section include a quarter mile unpaved road in the middle of it and then three pairs of heavy livestock crossing gates that you have to maneuver your way through. I did however see a herd of 8 or 9 bull elk sitting together in one of the ranch fields. They were too far away to show up on camera, though.
