Amtrak ALC-42 first run on the Coast Starlight

Описание: The future is now the present.. I think that's how that stereotypical say goes. This one was delivered back in early February 2022 and after a few runs on Amtrak's Empire Builder, it's time for it to run along the pacific coast. Announced the first of March, Amtrak ran its first ALC-42 - AMTK306 , on the Coast Starlight a few days later. It was accompanied with 2 P42s, in the case of something were to happen to the new lead engine. Witness history as we see Amtrak's ALC 42, #306 leads the Coast Starlight for the first time streetrunning through Oakland/Jack London Square and Emeryville as Amtrak train 14 & Amtrak train 11.
