Today, it’s WEIGHT TRAINING for WEIGHT LOSS in a workout that’s slow, controlled, MODERATE, and offers us a beautiful bonus: practice with our brain/body connection!
February is often described as the month of love. In today’s routine, we’re showing our body oodles of love by using MODERATE dumbbells and taking on moves that challenge our muscles in a gentle way.
There is no rest, but don’t worry! We aren’t rushing through the workout. We have plenty of time to focus on form and get it just right.
I’ve learned to appreciate workouts like this - although I’m a cardio girl at heart - because of the benefits they offer every inch of our bodies. This is important stuff as we move into middle age (and beyond!) and if we have WEIGHT LOSS as a goal.
And since BALANCE is part of healthy aging as well, we’re sneaking in some of that today too (you’re welcome!).

SET UP:
Timer is set for intervals of 45 seconds; complete the circuit twice; there is NO REST

FINISHER (one interval on each side):
