As part of my uni course I looked into the idea of identity & community.
How important is it to be part of something bigger, like a community? How do our cultures and communities impact our identity? What if our community does not match or support us the way we are?
This video explores the identity of 3 individuals living in Amsterdam. They are all inspirational human beings, and I’m happy that they shared parts of their stories with me/us.
It is important to stay true to yourself and believe in what you are doing, but it is also essential to empower others and stay strong together. I believe that we need communities in their diversity as we live in a big and colourful world, showing tolerance and openness to other people coming along our way.
