In this video, we show you how to perform a drum brake shoe replacement. This job was performed on a 3rd Gen Toyota 4runner. 1996-2000 4runners have one style of drum brakes and 01-02 models are a little different with how the auto adjuster works. This video shows how to perform the job on a 96-00 model.

Size: M8
Thread Pitch: 1.25
Length: 2 inches

*10cc Syringe - (if you needed to draw brake fluid out of the master cylinder)

*Mitivac Fluid Extractor - (more expensive option to a 10cc syringe but much more functional. You could use this for power steering flushes to pull the fluid out of the reservoir. *Flex Head Flare Nut Wrench Set - (If you wanted to replace your wheel cylinders, using a 10mm flare nut wrench would be ideal as opposed to using an open end wrench because you'll have a much less chance of stripping the brake line fitting.) https://amzn.to/32GoIdy
