Описание: La Bolla has 4 acres (16,000 square metres, or 1.6 hectares) of land, comprised of about 120 olive trees and 50 or so fruit trees. We have stopped turning the land and only rotovate under the trees, so the growth in the areas inbetween needs strimming each time we arrive after 3 months away, and just before we leave for another 3 months away. Leaving the soil unturned has proved beneficial to nature and is increasing biodiversity, which is one of the aims of our project. Over the last 12-18 months since we've moved to Italy, Pete (as the main user of the equipment) wants to share what our 'best buys' have been and how he's used them to manage the land and stay on top of the olive trees. The olive trees in particular have taken much of his time because of the dreaded Xylella disease which is affecting most of the olive trees in Puglia, and which many of our trees have shown symptoms of.
