Prof. Ranjani Majumdar, Professor of Cinema Studies at the School of Arts and Aesthetics, Jawaharlal Nehru University, in conversation with Bindu Menon, Faculty, Azim Premji University, speaks about her work on Indian cinema and its links with the city, technology, and color. In this conversation, she discusses her first book Bombay Cinema: An Archive of the City, her current research on color and infrastructure in Indian cinema, and her role in developing the Cinema Studies programme at JNU.
