I used to travel on the trains every day for school and work. It was always at least a 2 hour commute back and forth.
I haven't needed to travel as much and I have to say, I kind of miss it. Not the rush hour, the train congestion, the crowds, the rush to catch the train, the extreme temperature changes between the platform and the subway car, but the sounds of the train.
The steady rhythm of the train traveling over the tracks, the dark tunnel sides just outside the windows, it was all kind of soothing. Many times I would eventually fall asleep. The background noise was also great for when I was reading.
I thought I would recreate it in this video. Enjoy!
