This will be no mere display piece. I'm making this to be SWUNG. To smash. To slay 100 watermelons. And to be one hell of a workout tool.
This giant project will call on all of my skill as a woodworker and CNC craftsman.
We begin this first episode with the design work, refining blade geometry, and drawing up the joinery that will connect each separate segment together for a build sturdy enough to actually train with.
We follow this up with bringing to life the art we worked hard to create, and hold the first full scale test in hand with the gift of laser cut cardboard, that we may see and hold this massive manslayer in its full glory.
There will be victories, there will be struggles.
