Описание: Southport Motorhome Trip: It Wasn’t What We Expected!

Southport is a seaside town in Merseyside, in the north west of England. We take our Coachman Travel Master Motorhome and stay at Southport Caravan and Motorhome Club Site.
Firstly, the site is huge, with 172 pitches, two service blocks and it in a good location to walk to everything. We visited in November and stayed on pitch 131, it cost around £70 for 2 nights.

You can walk on to Marine Drive and then down towards thepier. Southport pier is the oldest iron pier in the country and the 2nd largest in the country, after Southend. There is a small theme park on Southport and a waterpark.

Near the site is Marine Lake, a great spot for a walk or some bird watching.

Southport town itself is a mix of traditionalseaside and Victorian influence. There are some beautifulhistoric building, Victorian shop canopies and shopping arcades. There are also som lovely shops, lots of fantastic eateriesand bars, and plenty to do and see.

Victoria Park and Rotten Row run alongside the Club Site, both points of interest.
