Morgenrood (the morning red) is a song, which on the surface seems like just another song about dawn, but which is in reality about the working class seizing power, liberating them from the dark and difficult night. This song was often played at the funerals of communists and socialists in Holland, which were always highly politicized. The picture in the video is of one of these funerals, even though it looks more like a protest march.
On this channel there is another version of this song as well that is much older, which sadly also means that the quality is not very good. This is why I decided to upload a second one with much better sound quality.
