One of the most notorious men of Henry VIII's reign was Thomas Cromwell. Cromwell dissolved the Monasteries and arranged the downfall of Anne Boleyn, but he was also condemned himself as he fell from power heavily. Cromwell arranged the failed marriage of Henry VIII and Anne of Cleves, and his enemies dug their claws in. He lost his head on Tower Hill, but what happened to his body and corpse after was shocking.
