Описание: Figure skating single axel progress as an adult skater! In this video I will be bringing you through the entire 3 year process of me landing my waltz jump all the way to my single axel as an adult skater. I never did jumps when I was younger so I learned everything from scratch as an adult. I definitely think it makes learning these a bit more challenging because you are further away from the ground, but also a little less fearless than a 7 year old. Regardless I wanted to make this video to show others that you absolutely can learn + land an axel as an adult! I also wanted to show that your axel attempts don't have to look picture perfect when you first start...that's unrealistic. My single axel journey has been on and off. I had to take breaks for competitions, injuries, and a bit of burnout during the process.

When I was 19/20 my only goal was to land a waltz jump. I told myself once that happened I would quit skating because I had achieved everything I wanted to. 3 years later I'm still skating with my next goal of landing a double axel by the time I turn 30. This sport has taught me that you are capable of just about anything if you put your mind to it.
