Hi, John with etrailer. Look, you just bought the king of the road Ford truck here. You need a king of the road 5th wheel hitch. Check out the CURT PowerRide 30,000 pound drop in 5th Wheel Hitch on our 2022 Ford F450. If you're ready to do some heavy hauling, this is really no joke. This is the biggest hitch we have here at etrailer for your hauling needs.

It's rated at 30,000 pounds and 7,500 pounds of pin weight. This is all of the quality that you expect from CURT. It's just really heavy well-built. So right off the bat, I'll just show you my favorite feature of this hitch. It's the fact that the head can be removed from the base with just the pull of one pin here.

I'll come to the back and I pull a pin. I slide one pin out and the head comes right off. That is cool if you need space because you have, say, you get to your destination, you have a sliding tonneau cover it's gonna bring it well below and anything else that you need. If you need to do some maintenance on it or whatever but we'll show you. You can see the system now it's got a four link system on here for bushings and this is keeping it isolated as you tow your trailer down the road.

This is like a 360 degree motion to reduce wear and tear on your truck. The interlocking jaws up here are heavy and well-built. That's my personal choice for jaws. I know we've got some other options out there that have larger single piece jaws that close. I like the interlocking jaws.

You can also see the zerk fittings on either side to keep things greased up. And we've got some on either side of the head as well. We'll get to the latch in just a second. I wanted to show you, while we have this off if you need full access to your bed let's take a look at it. Pull one pin here, slide the handles out. Same thing on the other side. Pop the handles out. And like that, you're gonna have full access to your truck bed because that's why you bought a truck. You needed a truck bed to haul lumber, to haul stuff, and that's what you do. Now of course, keep in mind this works with the factory puck system on these trucks. Makes it nice, makes it quick, and makes it clean to install and get it outta your truck. Now the handle system on the CURT is cool. This is a self resetting system, meaning when you pull it it's gonna stay out and then when you hook back up to your camper, it's automatically gonna close. Now I'll tell you before I do this I like the fact that I can reach this. This is a dually and I know I'm tall and I've got a good reach but I'm able to reach it out here, which is just great. However, the pin right here, I'm gonna have to kneel on the tire just to undo that safety pin. So you may have to climb into your truck to release that. But other than that, when we get to this point give it a tug, push it forward just like that, nice and easy. It opens the jaws up and you can pull away from your camper. One of the safety features that really makes me like the CURT brand is this one right here. We have a color system, for instance, yellow right now is letting us know, hey, the hitch is in the received position basically. So I've got a little kingpin here to stimulate. And I'll show you what happens when you hook up to your camper you know that you get a positive lock, your system goes green. If you have a rear facing camera on your truck you might even be able to see this from the monitor in your cab. Another nice feature of the CURT hitch, it has integrated wear plates on it. We're talking no grease, no plastic discs, just smooth and easy hookups. And going down the road these things are replaceable when you wear them out. This is gonna last you for years. When you order this hitch and you get it to your house assembly isn't too bad either. Everything's gonna come, mostly preassembled. The head will be assembled. You'll have to put the handle on and then you'll have to attach the main base to your puck legs here. The nice thing about this is this hitch can extend 4 inches of adjustment. So if you need it higher, this is great. We have it at the full height right now on this rig and if we need to go lower, we can. It's a 4 inch adjustment. And while we had it here I just wanted to show you the amount of flex on this head. This is really gonna give you a smoother ride. So the final thoughts on this CURT PowerRide, look, I'll go over it a
