Good afternoon, everyone, and welcome to another edition of the Android News Byte.
Today, I wanted to highlight a new AI tool from Google called Whisk. It's available for free via the company's Google Labs website
And I'll have this page linked in the video description below for those who want a quick way to find it.

Whisk AI Image Generation
After you have logged in, you should see a screen that looks like this.
The idea is to simplify generating images with AI using a three step process.

This involves choosing a subject.
Choosing a scene for that subject.
And then picking a style for the image to be generated with.

You can select all three of these manually. By either uploading your own images. . .or using a text prompt to create that image with AI

Google even has a way for you to select a pre-defined style.
Which includes a sticker, an enamel pin, or a plushie.
But again, you don't have to choose one of these. You can upload an image that demonstrates the style you're after. . .or you can use the text prompt to create one as well.


Whisk AI Examples
Let me demonstrate this in two different ways.
First, I'll use one of the pre-defined styles that Google offers.
We'll go with a plushie in this example.
And I'm going to upload an image of our cat.
You can choose to leave the Scene blank if you'd like, but you could also upload a picture of something you'd like to see.
Let's try a photo of the cat bed we have in our bedroom.

It will take some time before the final images are generated. . .but you should get at least two options to begin with.


So lets try another example.
I see people creating 3d animated versions of themselves and loved ones.
We can try that with our cat here as well.
We're going to keep the image of the subject like we had before.
We'll keep the scene the same, so it'll be his cat bed
Except this time, instead of choosing plushie for the style, we're going to upload an image of a Pixar movie

Let's generate that image and see what we get.
If that doesn't look very good, we could also go in and change the style to a text generated prompt
Using something like 3d animation that looks like it could be in a Pixar movie

And then see what type of images are generated.
