Tenryu-ji, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is located in Arashiyama area, the west part of Kyoto. It takes about 40 minutes from Kyoto Station by subway and train. There are about 300 maple trees planted in the precincts, and in early summer, fresh maples cover the ‘Sogenchi’ Garden in a refreshing green color. Enjoy the beautiful new greenery of Tenryuji Temple.
