New passports issued to locals in Donetsk

(16 Mar 2016) Pro-Russian rebels from the self-proclaimed Donetsk People's Republic in eastern Ukraine started to issue internal passports to locals who reached 16 years of age.
The leader of self-proclaimed Donetsk People's Republic, Alexander Zakharchenko and 20 young adults were the first ones to get new passports.
Zakharchenko said it's not a necessary document for Donetsk residents but in future they won't be able to vote at local elections without it.
