In today's video I will be reviewing my Rolex Datejust 36. The Datejust is one of Rolex’s oldest collections of watches that still remains in production today. It was first introduced in 1945 as a way of commemorating the company’s 40th anniversary. While a date display has become completely standard on most contemporary timepieces, the Rolex Datejust was the world's very first self-winding wristwatch to feature a date window that would automatically change over at midnight.

Rolex still produces Datejusts today. It is one of their most popular and easy to get your hands on models, even though it is less and less true these days. They also come in a bunch of variations, colors, sizes. The possibilities for this watch are endless. Prices for this watch usually range between $ 5 000 and $8 000 USD on the pre-owned market depending on condition and whether it comes with box and papers.
