I Can’t Believe It’s Almost Over After 2,600 Miles - PCT Day 130

Описание: Day 130 (Sep 19) of thru-hiking the Pacific Crest Trail northbound in 2025. After a cold night trying to sleep under the stars, I realized my sleeping bag had lost a lot of its warmth from moisture buildup. I ended up setting up my tent in the middle of the night to stay warmer and prevent more moisture from soaking into it.

I woke up to a warm, colorful sunrise, but also noticed smoke drifting into the area. That raised concerns about a possible fire somewhere north of me and the risk of a closure on the final stretch of trail. After more than 2,600 miles, the last thing I wanted was to get stopped short of the border.

With only a short distance left, I decided it was best to keep moving and not risk a closure blocking the final miles north.
