Apple Crisp Baby Muesli Recipe (MAKES 4 ½-CUP SERVINGS)
My kids and I love muesli. I made this for them when they are little, and I still keep some in the fridge for a quick snack – I call it a bowl of health! Adding the Old Fashioned Apple Crisp adds a buttery, home-cooked flavour to my original recipe. I guarantee you will love this for yourself! – Jen
INGREDIENTS:
1 ½ cups old fashioned rolled oats
1 red apple, grated
½ teaspoon cinnamon
1 pouch Baby Gourmet Old Fashioned Apple Crisp
1 cups unsweetened apple juice
½ cups plain Greek yogurt
Fresh berries for serving
DIRECTIONS:
1. In a medium bowl, combine oats, apple, cinnamon, Baby Gourmet, juice and yogurt.
2. Cover and place in refrigerator for 6-8 hours, or overnight.
3. Serve with chopped fresh berries. Keep stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
TIPS: To make this recipe gluten-free, use gluten-free oats. You can also substitute yogurt with coconut milk yogurt or dairy-free yogurt.
