Komati Jayaram officially assumed charge as the North America Special Representative for the Andhra Pradesh Government at the APNRT office in Tadepalli.

The swearing-in ceremony was held in the presence of several NRI leaders and dignitaries. On this occasion, Andhra Pradesh NRI Affairs Minister Kondapalli Srinivas stated that the services of Komati Jayaram will greatly contribute to the development of the state and strengthen ties with the NRI community in North America.

The event was attended by APNRT President Vemuri Ravi, Science and Technology Chairman Ravi Mandalapu, NRI leader Dr. Raja Pilli, and several prominent members of the NRI community
