This is the next installment of the Peripheral Nerve entrapment case study ,i now venture into the treatment component , first stop in the treatment process is to clear entrapment at the neck level.
I deep dive which cervical soft tissues are responsible for the entrapment dysfunction and treat , i then reassess the neural tension post treatment of the cervical entrapment sites.
Seb came into the clinic with multiple signs, symptoms and location of pain, and feeling of tightness, he had trouble isolating his description of dysfunction.
So if you get clients coming in with non specific symptoms to the neck shoulder, arm ,forearm and even wrist.
The symptoms are poorly localised and often hard for the client to explain, do have trouble isolating the pain sites on assessment. Which makes the sites of pain to locate and they can shift around depending on load, think PNE. This video i run you through Sebs signs and symptoms and how i assess it.
1) Neck entrapments sites, Scalene Muscle /1st Rib ,
2) Shoulder dysfunction,
3) Pectoralis minor ,short head biceps/corcobrachialis
4) Upper Limb tension tests :Median /Radial Nerve.
Next week join us for more treatment sequences for Seb`s PNE.
