Iranian President, Masoud Pezeshkian, released a statement on Sunday read out on state media vowing revenge for killing of Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Khamenei, aged 86, in air strikes by Israel and the US.
"The Islamic Republic of Iran regards seeking justice and revenge against the perpetrators and those who ordered this historic crime as its duty and legitimate right, and it will employ all its capabilities to fulfil this great responsibility and obligation." he said in his statement.
