On February 26th, the Hollywood Reporter broke the exclusive that Red Sonja is back in development, this time from screenwriter Tasha Huo, and director Joey Soloway.

Emphasis on this time, because this is but the latest iteration of the Red Sonja movie production company Millennium has been trying to get off the ground since 2008.
In this editorial, @AndreEinherjar will first go through who Red Sonja is and her past history on film; before going through this movies troubled history, and how this latest iteration differs from those that came before.
