Описание: In this vlog, I’m taking you to two deeply spiritual and historical places in Makkah — the birthplace of our beloved Prophet Muhammad ﷺ and the mysterious Masjid Al Jinn.

We’ll begin at the site where the Prophet ﷺ was born — originally his father’s house in the Banu Hashim district. Today, this sacred place stands as a public library, located just outside the eastern walls of Masjid Al Haram, near the hill of Marwa. It’s believed he was born here during the early hours of Fajr in the blessed month of Rabi al-Awwal, in the Year of the Elephant.

Next, we’ll head just north of the Holy Mosque to visit Masjid Al Jinn — one of the most talked-about mosques in Makkah. This is the place where Prophet Muhammad ﷺ once recited the Quran to a tribe of Jinn, who then embraced Islam. Though not a part of the Hajj rituals, standing on this historical ground is an unforgettable experience.

Masjid Al Jinn
Scores of stories have been told about this curiously named mosque.
The most famous of the accounts says that on this spot Mohamed (PBUH) recited the Quran to the Jinn tribe, who then embraced Islam and became believers.
The original Masjid Al Jinn was built in 1700 – and was originally underground. Recent additions to the historical mosque include angular architecture and a distinctly modern minaret.
Masjid Al Jinn is known by several names, including Masjid Haras, Masjid Bayah, the Mosque of Allegiance and the Mosque of Guards.
It is just north of the Holy Mosque , next to Jannat Al Mu’alla , on Al Masjid Al Haram Road.
Although worshiping at this mosque is not an obligatory part of Hajj, it is still thrilling to stand at the very spot where the Jinn tribe embraced Islam.


Birthplace of our beloved Prophet Mohammad ( SAW)

The birthplace of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ was originally his father’s house, belonging to Abdullah ibn Abdul Muttalib I and was situated at the edge of the Banu Hashim district in Makkah. The site now serves as a public library and is located outside the walls of Masjid al-Haram to the east, adjacent to the hill of Marwa. The Prophet ﷺ was born in the month of Rabi al-Awwal in the Year of the Elephant (April 571), at the time of Fajr according to popular opinion.
