There have been at least 22 E bike robberies in New York since September of 2019. E bike delivery drivers are being targeted, apparently by the same 2 men.
Their targets are late night e-bike delivery drivers, most of whom are new immigrants to the country and are trying to put food on the table, both their own and their customers.
These cowardly thieves are targeting throttle assisted e-bikes, many of which are worth $2,000 or more.
If you are out there delivering food, please keep your eye out for them, and report any and all suspicious activities to your local police.
