Let's Talk Tuba: FALSE TONES (only 3 valves needed!!)

This is a video highlighting a strange discovery I made on the Eb tuba, which should in theory apply to tubas in any key. What if I told you that with three valves, you could have access to a fully chromatic low register all the way to the pedal tones? These notes may not formally be part of the instrument's harmonic series, but depending on your tuba, you might find that you're able to get a fairly full sound out of these false tones! Enjoy!
