Vaughn Benjamin Sessions - Midnite for a Reason - September 2, 2002

Описание: As many of you are aware, Vaughn Benjamin would hold a ‘session,’ many times just after a concert. Somewhere in my collection is one from February 18, 2002 the first day I met Vaughn. Until then, here’s the background from this one from September 2, 2002.

On September 1, 2002, Midnite headlined the Virgin Islands Reggae Fest held a the Paul E. Joseph Stadium on
St. Croix. They played from 4am until 5:30 in the morning. They then drove to the airport, hopped on a plane to Monterey. They were whisked from the plane to the venue and rushed on stage where they proceeded to deliver a massive musical set for the ages which can be watched on my channel.

The following day I linked up with the band at their hotel room where I got to enjoy another of Vaughn’s sessions where he reflects on a number of things beginning with ‘space.’ This really resonated with me because of my learnings as a youth. If you zoom in enough, even the hardest of surfaces and objects are 99% space. This is just one example of how reality is formed by perceptions. Vaughn was able to perceive things on many levels, only some of which I can comprehend. Fulljoy!
