Ogden couple both terminated from IRS jobs as part of DOGE cuts

The layoffs are a part President Donald Trump's plan to cut back on federal spending. According to the NTEU Chapter 67 union, which represents the IRS workers in Ogden, more than 1,000 employees will be laid off in the next coming months.

One IRS employee impacted said he started his job six months ago, and said he left his previous job of 10 years to join the federal workforce.
