In this video, a massive Danieli Pre-Shredder is fed with scrap metal by a Terex Fuchs material handler equipped with a grapple. Various scrap items including cars, bikes, radiators and mixed metal are dropped into the shredder where they are torn apart before being transferred to the hammer mill shredder for further processing.
Filmed entirely by drone, this video gives a unique top-down perspective of the shredding process that you rarely get to see. The mechanical power, crushing sounds and repetitive movement make this a strangely satisfying and almost ASMR-like industrial experience.
