Junk Science: Investigating pseudoscience disinformation in the Russia Tweets

We’ve also known that as part of this they spread a whole bunch of fake news on twitter about vaccination.

But why?

Was this to camouflage amongst people already thinking that way? Was it to destabilise our understandings of science and truth? Or was it a deliberate effort to whip up controversy along existing fault lines in the US?

To find out, we scoured the RussiaTweets archive to look for various science - and pseudo science - content. Here’s what we found.
