In this video, we explain two important power electronic devices: MOSFET and TRIAC. ⚡
🔹 MOSFET (Metal Oxide Semiconductor Field Effect Transistor):
A voltage-controlled switch with Gate, Drain, and Source terminals.
Used for high-speed switching and amplification.
Commonly found in SMPS, motor drivers, and amplifiers.
🔹 TRIAC (Triode for Alternating Current):
A bidirectional AC switch with terminals MT1, MT2, and Gate.
Controls current in both directions (AC).
Used in fan regulators, light dimmers, and motor control.
🎯 Key Difference:
MOSFET → Best for DC circuits & high-frequency switching
TRIAC → Best for AC power control
