Continuation of Steps 7-8 of the "Heart's Desire" Sew-A-Long

This is where the quilt really starts coming together.

First, I’ll be adding the *1.5-inch sashing strips* to each block. Sashing helps frame your beautiful heart blocks, adds definition, and gives the overall quilt layout a clean, cohesive look. I’ll share tips on accurate cutting, keeping your seams straight, and pressing for crisp, professional results.

Next, we’ll move on to **connecting the blocks into rows of six**. This step is so exciting because you finally get to see the design start to take shape! I’ll walk through lining up seams, nesting intersections, and keeping everything square as we sew the rows together.
