Stop-Motion Transformation of Unique Toys R-02 Challenger. This is the 2018 Figure of the Year for me. Unique toys has woven their black magic once again. Looking forward to R-03 Megatron when it comes out. My only gripe would be that they didn’t provide for front to back ankle movement. But it’s a small price to pay for something this elegant and clever.

Viewing Note:
If you want to follow along, I recommend skipping to the speed run and using the Chrome plugin called "Frame by Frame for YouTube". It turns your , and . keyboard keys into single-frame movement keys. Every step of the transformation is documented in the frames of the video, in what I consider to be the best sequence. With minimal rubbing and minimal parts-parking.
