બનાવવાની રીત (ટૂંકમાં):
ચોખાને ધોઈને પલાળી રાખો.
તેલ/ઘી માં રાઈ, જીરું, હિંગ, આદુ-લસણની પેસ્ટનો વઘાર કરો.
ડુંગળી, ટામેટાં, અને મનપસંદ શાકભાજી (વટાણા, ગાજર, ફણસી, બટાકા) સાંતળો.
લાલ મરચું, હળદર, ધાણાજીરું, ગરમ મસાલો, મીઠું ઉમેરો.
પલાળેલા ચોખા અને જરૂર મુજબ પાણી ઉમેરીને રાંધો (પ્રેશર કૂકરમાં અથવા વાસણમાં).
લીંબુનો રસ અને કોથમીરથી સજાવી, દહીં અથવા રાયતા સાથે ગરમાગરમ પીરસો.
આ વાનગી સરળતાથી બની જાય છે અને એક જ વાસણમાં સંપૂર્ણ ભોજન પૂરું પાડે છે.
