We are towing today with the legendary 6.4L HEMI V8 engine in the RAM 2500 Trucks with my 14,000lbs trailer set up through the Appalachian mountains and directly comparing this truck to the Ford F250 7.3L Godzilla and the 6.6L L8T in the Chevy 2500 trucks.

this 6.4L Hemi surprised me if I'm going to be honest I thought with this engine being the oldest, smallest and least powerful it would greatly struggle on my towing loop but this old girl was great. I thought it was very competitive with the 6.6L V8 from GM.

the 7.3L Godzilla in the F250s is still the best towing HD gas engine at least on my towing loop but the 6.4L Hemi is honestly not a bad towing option and I'd feel very confident towing and owning this engine in an HD truck!
