To lubricate Compact Rail Sliders from the NS and R series, it's important to maintain the raceways, as proper lubrication is key to ensuring long product life. These sliders feature self-lubricating heads with built-in wipers and felt pads that gradually release oil. To reapply oil, use a syringe to inject lubricant directly into the hole on the slider head, allowing it to soak into the felt pads. Afterward, move the slider along the rail to help distribute the oil evenly across the raceways. If needed, you can partially remove the slider from the rail to replace the self-lubricating head.
