Описание: Kemi Badenoch has attacked Rachel Reeves, accusing the Chancellor of using the Office for Budget Responsibility Chief as a 'human shield' following his resignation.

Richard Hughes stepped down after the financial watchdog accidentally leaked the Chancellor's Budget 45 minutes before the she unveiled her fiscal measures in the House of Commons.

The Conservative leader hit out at Rachel Reeves, saying: 'Rachel Reeves is using Richard Hughes, the former head of the OBR, as a human shield.'

She added: 'If the OBR, chief is going, then she should go too.'
